Delete Your Data

Golf Ball Tracer is built to store as little data as possible. Your videos, trace projects, and exported clips live on your device — not on our servers. The only data we hold is your sign-in record (if you signed in).

Local Data (On Your Device)

To remove videos, trace projects, and exported clips:

  • Open the iOS Photos app or your Android Gallery and delete the videos and exported clips you no longer want.
  • To clear all app data at once, uninstall Golf Ball Tracer from your device.

We do not have access to this data and cannot delete it remotely.

Account Data (Held by Us)

If you signed in, your Firebase Authentication record (email + user ID) is the only personal data we hold. To delete it:

Send an Email Request

Email support@golfballtracer.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

Include Required Information

In your email, please include:

  • The email address used to sign in
  • Which sign-in method you used (email, Apple, or Google)

Confirmation

We'll confirm deletion within 30 days.

What Will Be Deleted

  • Your Firebase Authentication record (email + user ID)
  • Any display name associated with the account

Retention Exceptions

  • Email correspondence: Any support emails you sent may be retained in our records.
  • Backup systems: Backups may take up to 30 days to be fully purged.

Important Notice

Data deletion is permanent and irreversible. After deletion, you'll need to create a new account to sign in again.
