Delete Your Account

Golf Ball Tracer accounts are minimal — just a sign-in record (email + Firebase user ID). Your videos and trace projects live on your device only, so deleting your account does not affect them. To remove local content, simply delete the videos in your Photos app or uninstall the App.

How to Request Account Deletion

Send an Email Request

Email support@golfballtracer.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

Include Required Information

In your email, please include:

  • The email address used to sign in
  • Which sign-in method you used (email, Apple, or Google)
  • A statement confirming you wish to delete your account

Verification

We may send a confirmation message to the account email to verify the request before processing.

Confirmation

Once your request is processed, you will receive a confirmation email within 30 days.

Data That Will Be Deleted

  • Your Firebase Authentication record (email + user ID)
  • Any display name associated with the account

Data That May Be Retained

  • Email correspondence: If you've emailed support, those threads may be retained for our records.
  • Backup systems: Copies in backup systems may take up to 30 days to be fully purged.

Important Notice

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. After deletion you'll need to create a new account if you want to sign in again. Your locally stored videos and trace projects on your device are not affected — they remain until you delete them from your Photos app or uninstall the App.
